How to make a RS232 cable to the length you want

How to make a RS232 cable to the length you want

First you need a cable, I advise you to take the cable alarm, the length that I knew to do with this type of cable is a 30m (1181 inches)

Then you will need 2 sheets rs232 more commonly called female db9

When you open the files db9, they present as follows:

Take the right part, or you will have to intervene to weld, this small plate is numbered from 1 to 9, then take 3 wire cable whatever colour because it does not matter and cut other son flush because you will not utility.
Solder the wires 3 following the diagram below according to the numbers.

    2 sur 3
    3 sur 2
    5 sur 5

    You will get this:

Why are told that the cable is a crosstab, simply because the number 2 the first plate is welded with the number 3 the second plate and number 3 the first plate is welded with the number
    2 the second plate.
Then you need to do that narrowed small box and you are ready to use it

For those who have no RS232 port on their computer:

You will need a USB converter rs232

It comes with a small disc called Driver, once configured on your PC, you can connect the cable manufactured rs232 male on your converter

Ps: Sorry for my english, is not verry good
    Please correct
